would need better and faster ram to work better as stated by a review.. those G.skill 4gb ones would do fine with this.

I jumped on this last month with a RAM combo. Very nice and stable in a older HP a1610n, replaces a x2 4200 without issues. I suspect this OEM asus board might of rejected a higher wattage. Even mixed up the RAM speeds and it's still rockin' dual channel with the matched pairs (2X2)
