Great find. Buy S&P 500 options at about 2 hours before the stock markets' close when the market is up big and sell the second they are up more than you bought them for an almost sure $500 gain. This takes care of the one trade minimum.

Not a referral link. I typed in optionsxpress $500 in Google search it is at the very top. I linked the page that came up. It gives a promo code you are to enter or a URL to go through in the fine print.

Seems like a great way to get $500 pretty easily.

You do have to complete at least one trade in the 6 month period.

I believe if you open a cash account it is a soft pull, if you open a margin account, it is a hard pull.

Wow, dammit i just opened a tradeking account too, now with this i'll have 3 brokerage accounts =/ Does this company charge maintenance fees or require a certain level of activity? Can i just transfer in 500, make one trade, and then leave it alone for 6 months?

That's incredible, already signed up! You can't beat a 100% return on your money in 6 months. Trades are $10 each way right? So find an option with a 5 cent bid/ask spread and high trade volume, take the small hit on the spread and sell right after buying, should be in good shape right?

Is this account FDIC insured if optionsexpress goes under?
