nah just sounds like a slickdealer. If you can find an authorized dealer off of ebay, you can get one new with full warranty with CashBack for less and no tax. That's how I got my 40gb for $280 a while ago.

But the Ebay route is a good choice if you can find a good seller. Also I heard that the hard drive for the PS3 is fairly easy to upgrade. Grab a 320gb drive and you should be set.
