Dremel Tool Kit w/40 Accessories $29.97 FREE SHIP

I ran across this Dremel tool set with 40 accessories on clearance at lowe's website, and it's priced just high enough to qualify it for free shipping. Edit to add: Free shipping is now no longer available, but this can be picked up in your local store for free if they have it in stock.

They say it was $43.97, but other sites on pricegrabber are selling this same kit for around $60 plus shipping.

This is the corded model. I personally have a cordless model and hate how the battery always needs charging on them. It's not going to saw any 2X4's in half or do any heavy duty work, but it's a great tool for the money and they make good gifts.

I know I'm new to this site, but I try to only post decent deals. Thanks for the reps everyone has given.

Hey, i am not the guy you wrote that to. But i am curious what is the difference? like general differences not to technical...

Not meaning to stir the pot, but for any future posters to know whats the difference and what way the dremel benefits them over drill bits...

The Dremel is basically a light duty, high speed grinding tool. The tool I use 98% of the time is the cutting disk. A standard drill is so slow that it is pretty much worthless for this application. It would be pretty clumsy to hold as well due to it's size. If you're still wondering what the big deal is, then you don't need one.
