well, you should try going to CC and returning the surround sound and see what happens.
also, the surround sound is selling on ebay for pretty close to $400. which does make this a really good deal if you decide to do that.

as an ex cc manager... you can return part of a package, the real trick is to find a manager or a csa that doesn't know what they're doing to be willing to do so! good luck! :-)
