Same thing with my friends one. I got a Stone, 2gb (no speaker), for like 15 dls i think... edit. and the stone plus they are offering at 19.99 is only pink.. so be aware

Actually im just sharing my experience.. and if u look back to the post where a lot of us got our stone, you will see that everyone was complaining about the crappy refurb stuff creative ships.. i paid 15 bucks, thats the price of a pair of creative headphones (that by the way, mine were new) so im not whining,

and about the refurb in general, i dont think apple (to name one) would send u a scratch refurb ipod

Ditto. I bought 2 of them for my kids at that time and they still look brand new with the BSE applied. One of the top 3 media players ever IMO.

It just died on me here around Dec 08. Going to try and RMA it and see if they will do anything about it. If not, then no cigar :/ Oh well. Gave me the squeal of death.
