These sofas are cool because they are stain resistant. My sister has a set.

microfiber is ohso soft. I love it.

I haven't had any experience with them, but have heard mixed reviews about them. I read how they become matted down with time and don't feel as soft as they first do. I believe this is after maybe about a year or so with constant use. Since you are wanting it for minimal use, it may work out well for you.

I wanted one when they first came out, but am waiting until I hear from someone that has had it for several years.

There are various types of microfiber fabrics, all with different qualities. Some hold up better than others. I purchased a microfiber couch with what appears to be the same exact microfiber fabric as the one you are looking at. I would not recommend it. After two years, the fabric has ripped in a few places and it looks worn down. Although I purchased fabric protection (yes, stupid move on my part) the sofa has accumulated numerous stains. Anything that spills on it becomes one with the fabric.

I dont like it. My exgirlfriend bought a set, I helped carry them up to her new apt, every time we bumped the wall it took the fabric right off, and where all the 'high traffic' spots are, you can tell overtime its going to wear away.
and no, this wasnt a cheap set, it was like $1500 for 2 couches.

meanwhile my set from Levitz has held up perfectly with overuse, and abuse, and scratching by my 2 cats, its in perfect condition after a year!

I'd buy microfiber over real fabric again anyday!

i think it's a good idea if you have a lot of kids running around the house because they always spill things, but if you don't have any kids/babies, then you dont really need this unless you're clumsy

Yea, my sister has a set of these (better ones though, I guess) and she has a 3 year old that always spills stuff. It's cool because she doesn't have any stains =) and you can easily just wipe off the mess. I'd want one, but I still live at home so it'd be pointless til I move out permanently.

Well, I can't say how good the fabric quality is with this microfiber, but I can say this much...

Good (or at least decent) microfiber is AWESOME fabric. so comfortable.

These have removable fabric covers, so it would be easy to steal my wife's delicates bag and wash the covers, or have them dry cleaned. Also, if the fabric wears out, you can buy just a replacement cover for less than $150, which is a lot better than a new couch (assuming the fabric doesn't wear out TOO quickly...)

You can have multiple fabric sets so you can change your couch color on a whim, try that with any other couch.

There's storage space under the couch cushions, so that's a plus for anyone needing storage

The frame looks like relatively sturdy plywood and 2x4s under thick cushions, so there will still be comfort to sit or lay on, but you don't have the underlying springs to wear out and sag

Considering the cost compared to buying even a lower end couch at a furniture store (usually no less than $500-600) and the cost of replacing fabric (less than $150), if the fabric lasted even 3-4 years and then I had to replace it, I'd be very happy.

Plus, you assemble it, so if you look at the frame and decide it could use a little more support under the plywood that the cushions sit on, it's not a big deal to nail on another 2x4 to shore it up a bit... at least it's not one of those cheap arse weak tube "steel" (i.e. fairly weak sheet metal) frames like on the cheap futons that wally world sells...

I have one... with 2 recliners and I luv it.

I love my set and I have the light beige set. I have it in my family room, not the living room and it is awesome. The very first thing we had to get off of ours was RED INK my four year old was writing and the pen went off the paper.

We cleaned it with alcohol and cotton balls and it came right out and didnt leave a mark. Now every spill we get on it we clean out with alcohol; hopefully that won't wear the fiber out. It doesn't appear too. (Old bank trick to get ink out).

We use it daily as the family room is where we spend most of our time. I wished that I had purchased it here in AL instead of No VA, I couldve saved $825 on the three pieces.

I love my microfiber. I purchased it from Legacy furniture in Centreville, VA last year.

just ordered 4 different swatches, they had "pet safe" material, our leather is wrecked after years of many cats launching off of it and we're moving to a larger house in august so need new furniture. thanks OP!

OK, let's face it. This is not the best made or the most comfortable set you'll ever buy. However, it's a great buy for the money despite the fact it's smaller than most standard furniture! Read their top ten reasons to buy their furniture and watch the video and if you're on a budget, just starting out or looking for something to fill a spare room, this is perfect. It's UPS delivered (you have to assemble it), doesn't weigh over 60 lbs., and if the microfiber fabric is an issue, click on the selection of fabrics that include Chenille, Twill, Cotton in all kinds of patterns and colors. I'm putting an order together now for my guest room.
