But the reason for the drop is due to an anticipation for the new line of Nvidia video cards. It just happens that Buy.com took the step earlier and you really have to give them kudos for that. I am not sure when Newegg will drop theirs since I haven't really evaluated how soon Newegg drops prices, but Newegg is known to charge a premium on new extremely hot items. |

I doubt that the reason for a price drop is the other line of cards. I feel its a price mistake but these are only my 2 cents. If they were to drop then surely not from 400 to 200.

im confused..... the 280 version is cheaper than the 260? i understand that the 295 is out and all other video cards whould go down in price but the 280 for $200??? does that mean that the 260 will be at 150 or even lower?? this must be a price mistake. 2 of these will beat a single 295 which sales for 500+ and yet for 2 of the 280 will cost $400? did i die and go to heaven?
