What part of "U3" in SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Titanium Plus U3 Smart USB 2.0 Flash Drive didn't you see?

This gets a TU and rep from me. I paid $18 for this a few months ago from a deal I found here on SD.
I'd buy another if I weren't in the market for a 16 or 32GB drive.

They are, [u3.com] which means it's necessary to remote that junk [amazonaws.com] with the removal tool before it can damage your computer. [oldradio.net] (I did write that, since it happened to me.)

http://www.portableapps.com/ has a replacement system that works the way Windows is supposed to work, and has boatloads of free applications (and of course you can install any other portable application, too, like those listed at http://www.portablefreeware.com/).

I think the only difference is that these newer models are more cheaply made - for example, it's no longer made of "Liquid Metal" and the LEDs are no longer blue, but amber.

Awesome deal for a titanium drive. It is almost indestructible and I recommend this product to all my friends. I have carried mine in the same pocket as my bunch of keys for more than a year and it works perfectly. It is basically uncrushable.
Back when I bought it, it was something like 60 - 40 rebate, which was supposed to be an awesome deal at the time.

No, it is the same thing in gold color, with the same durability. If you don't own one, don't mislead people. And the LED color does not make any difference.
