$35 difference from the 4850, now this is definitely a bargain.

The card is great for HTPC though, I use it primarily for HD content display on my 50" 1080p plasma |

I have this exact card (paid $90 after MIR a couple weeks ago) and I think it's a fantastic deal. Yes, the 4850 is a little bit better, and is only $35 more, but this is slickdeals, and for me, those $35 were better spent elsewhere. If you're looking for a budget card that will run all of the latest games with really good settings, this is your card. You can't crank up every setting on every game, but hey, we're not talking about dropping $250 for your GPU here. Oh, and for someone who asked above, this is actually very comparible with the 9800GT (without OC'ing). Not sure how well the 9800GT OC's, but this one apparently does so quite well, making it an even better choice, IMHO. |

Will this card drive my HP w2207h monitor somewhere close to its 1680x1050 native resolution? My current ATI Radeon HD 2600 xt still struggles with 1024x768 on the "bigger" games (COD4, etc). I have a Dell Inspiron 530 Q6600 with the BSEL mode to 3.0 GHz/1333MHz FSB, 4GB PC6400. System is has 5.9 scores on Windows Vista Experience scores except 5.6 Disk and 5.6 Graphics. Think this could get LESS that $75 anytime soon? Tell me Karnac!
