If you want to watch the video, do a search for Ooma in the bottom right. For some reason the link takes you to the end of the video and starts the current video on green energy.
Anyone have this and can comment? I am gun shy from being burned by SunRocket still and just have questions about things like MagicJack. |

I've had this for 2 months and it is a terrific service. Crystal clear, great interface on the web, can ring a cell phone at the same time, etc.... I only wished I had moved to it earlier. I bought mine @ Costco, just in case I'd ever want to return it. But it's a keeper. I also ported my home # over to it, it costs $39, and took about 3 weeks.

Very tempting offer. |

Here is the link to the Ooma Blog -- http://blog.ooma.com/ which has the link to that video as well. I ordered 1 from J&R... I am done with Vonage!!! |

I bought 2 of these for my business for $150 each after ebay live cashback. Ooma is the best telephony investment I have made and it is definitely a keeper. I'm looking to buy my third system for my home. $199 is a tempting offer but I wish there was some discounts similar to live cashback to make it sweeter.
Only downside with Ooma is that its direct dialing international rates are not that competitive. |

I will stick with Skype. It works on my home phones (some vtech 7100 with 3 handsets), my cell phone (HTC Kaiser), and my PC, and is less than $60 a year, plus you get a seperate number to make long distance calls when at a friend or relatives house (with in the same area code).

There is a 2% FatWallet Cashback for ordering from J&R which I did not list here earlier. |

not really unlimited minutes
Viatalk does the same thing, advertised as "Unlimited" residential plan, $199/2. After digging around and reading several forums, Viatalk restricts incoming and outcoming to 5100 mins per month in their Terms of Service. Don't mind that they put a cap on the minutes and understandable. But don't advertise in bold prints as "UNLIMITED" minutes then hide behind their restrictions of minutes under Terms of Service section. Especially Viatalk, I have no experience using Fartortel.com |

There is not even a one company which dares to say unlimited
