It's a very nice heatsink for the price. I've had mine for quite sometime and I'm quite pleased with it.

Funny I was looking at this at like 10pm. Almost posted it, wasn't sure if it was SD or not.
Looks pretty good for the price though, a quick rundown against other coolers here [xbitlabs.com]. The only catch is you have get the bracket separate, and a little compound unless you have some Nutella sitting around. My evil side took over and I ordered a Thermalright Ultra-120 eX. |

i hopped on this last time...i still didn't get my rebate yet!! I think it was about 2 - 3 months ago?
its a great heatsink though i have it in my antec 900 my cpu is at around 15C (REALTEMP) and 23C (CORETEMP) both are on idle...I have not tried load yet. Last edited by mtree4me; 02-18-2009 at 11:21 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

I have this exact heatsink. Its a very nice one and keeps the CPU very cool. I paid $40 and it was worth it at that price. I personally saw about a 15 degree Celsius drop in temp over the OEM stock heatsink from Intel.
The pictures are misleading. This sink is very large. Its about the size of two soda cans size by side, maybe an inch taller. Last edited by Solarjetman; 02-19-2009 at 05:33 AM.. |
