Larry's Pistol and Pawn [pistolandpawn.com] (a local firearm 'superstore' where I live - don't let the 'pawn' in the name confuse you) has the Sabre Defence XR15 AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver for $149 + $25 shipping + your local FFL fees.

These lowers sold for around $199 prior to the election and I have personally never seen them priced this low!

Sabre Defence [sabredefence.com] is well known for producing very high quality AR parts and rifles to very strict tolerances. Search "Sabre Defence" on AR15.com and you'll see nothing but praise for the high quality products produced by this company.

Additionally, Larry's has more than 150 AR-15 rifles of many makes and manufacturers in stock and ready to ship right now.

The RRA in the link for PK Firearms is a complete lower, including the trigger group, six-position stock and all of the associated parts. For an example, see this diagram.

By comparison, the stripped lower that I posted as the topic of this thread is item #6 in this diagram, which is simply a breakout of item #30 in the first diagram I linked.

Incidentally, RRA is a very reputable manufacturer as well. Their lowers are machined by CMT (Continental Machine and Tool) which is very well respected in the AR-15 community.

Sabre Defense machines their own lowers.

Crap. I really didn't think he'd pursue this so quickly.

What fools - they're talking about "cop killer" bullets and automatic weapons - any bullet can kill anyone, and automatic weapons are almost illegal except to a few specially licensed citizens already. Gun violence has been on a downward trend since the AWB expired in 2004, and now they want to reinstitute it?

Needless to say I found another FFL to transfer to. He must have them on sale now or something though. I'll have to give my friend who was wanting a sabre defense lower a call. Thanks OP

Just the lower receiver? Can anyone recommend a good FFL to use in the Baltimore area? Most I've spoken with so far are really uptight about handling paperwork for something I choose and don't buy through them.
