Want to make sure I am not getting 3 batteries that only less for couple months (all die at the same time after few months).

Well, the reviews are pretty good. Amazon also sells "Lenmar" branded batteries for about $8 each shipped and they have excellent reviews.

I'm a pro photographer. The original Canon batteries are ridiculously overpriced and actually doesn't hold their charge anywhere near as long as the generic cheapo ones.

I've bought around 40 or 50 generic Canon batteries throughout the years and only experienced two lemons so far, the rest have worked perfectly. It is well worth it.

I get my generics off of eBay for a couple of bucks each and couldn't be happier with them.

I agree the generic ones are definitely worth their price... in general I do see Canon originals hold charges longer (leak less) over time, but at $40 or something they are not worth the price premium.
