What? It's not an older model. It's as current as the 560. They are just different models. The 560 ads scheduling capabilities. They are both 500 series.

I assumed it was old because it's not even on roomba's website. is it a special hsn model or something? scheduling capabilities is what i really want...

The 535 and the 550 are "special" models made for warehouses and HSN, etc, etc. The 535 is a 530 with RF. The 550 is a 560 with one less lighthouse.

You're wrong. One there isn't a 500, the base model is the 530. Compared to a 560, a 530 doesn't have RF or scheduling. The big thing is the RF because you won't be able to use the RF lighthouses, just the IR ones.
