Official: Windows 7 RC - Available on 4/30 for some, 5/5 for everyone
Get the RC here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/...nload.aspx
FAQ
1) When does the RC expire?
June 1, 2010
2) What happens after the RC expires?
You will need to upgrade (see #3) to a newer version of Windows 7 before then (generally the releases go Release Candidate (one or more) -> Final version).
3) Can I upgrade from the beta release to the RC, or from RC to Final?
Yes, with the workaround discussed here [msdn.com]. Note that it's not really supported.
4) Where can I get an antivirus program that works on Windows 7?
Check out this page [microsoft.com]. (info provided by yourdeals)
5) Will my Vista drivers work on Windows 7?
Yes.
ATI & Nvidia do have updated video drivers available though.
ATI drivers - http://support.amd.com/us/gpudown...index.aspx (new Win7 drivers posted on 5/5)
Nvidia drivers - http://www.nvidia.com/Download/in...lang=en-us (new Win7 drivers posted on 5/6)
