Graveyard mall is a GREAT company and is always honest about it's products. They also put a lot of attention into their packing and it shows.

If I hadn't moved mostly to rechargeable in the past few months I'd be all over this. I used to by these types of batteries on eBay for a bit more after shipping. Still going through a box of 700 AA batteries I bought YEARS ago lol

If you're looking for rechargables, why not check out the eneloop rechargables @ Costco for $19 after instant rebate? Good price if you don't want rechargables, but the eneloops would definitely have less environmental impact than 100 aaa batteries.

Not to be a an eco-freak preaching, but make you you recycle these batteries. You can bring them to many electronics places, or you have have online places ship you a box to ship them back in.

They "were a hit" in the sense that a lot of people bought them. But as far as I know, no one has actually received and tried them yet.

As someone in the other thread pointed out, the "cosmetic blemish" explanation for the pricing is likely a load of BS. The real reason these are cheap is buried later in the description: Expiration date 2010-2013. Rayovacs in retail stores now are dated 2014 and beyond. These are old batteries that probably have already lost a lot of their charge -- I've used rayovacs a lot (know people who used to work for Spectrum brands) andI'm the type that likes to keep packs around "just in case." I find that (unless they have been sotred ina freezer) they are usually almost dead by the time they get close to their expiration date.

please recycle these after you use all 100 of them.
