I agree with the others, would be smoking with free shipping. With or without free shipping, this is FP stuff.

$12 cheaper than a week ago. Not bad.. Don't forget the %5 cashback through live.com to make it even cheaper.. But fyi.. the reviews on newegg aren't great. Plus everyone said they didn't get their rebate back. Plus RMA involves shipping to Taiwan.
I know the rebate is through worldwiderabates, which I have received rebates through them before but the process is that worldwiderabates gets the form then requests the money from Sapphire. So it sounds like Sapphire isn't living up to their end. Just a warning. |

This is a great price for the 4890. Wish it was free shipping, and CA tax kills it for me also. Wish i lived in Oregon. |

actually, if you play at 1920x1080 or higher res and tend to use AA/AF, the 4890 will beat the GTX275 in almost all cases. at 1680x1050 and other more typical resolutions the GTX275 tends to be a little faster, but not enough to justify the ~$60 premium, as I haven't seen any good deals on the 275 yet.
I fail to see how "overclocking headroom" is ever an advantage, because you can oc any card. only exception would be if (for example) ATI or Nvidia went cheap on manufacturing costs for an entire line of cards, but stepped up their QA and gave cards stock clocks much closer to their theoretical max, but that would be silly. The best deal is two 4770 at res below 2k they will beat a 285. See toms hardware: http://www.tomshardware.com/revie...,2288.html |
