Apparently it doesnt.... which is why I posted right before you that I wished it applied to some other TVs. I put some 32 and 37s in my shopping cart along with the tivo and tried the code and it didnt work.

Yes. Or you can pre-purchase 1 year, 3 year, or lifetime (life of the unit) subscriptions. Lifetime subscription is the most cost-effective, but the cost ($400) can seem like a lot up front, especially for people who haven't used Tivo before.

Looks like this promo ends the 31st of May... so maybe the rumors of new models and clearance prices on older models happening in June is true.

Yeah, I would have preferred that, as I already have a TiVo, and don't really need another. I'm going to try and sell it on CL for $200...
