iPod shuffle - free with new Citi Professional Card ($500 in 3 months total purchases
Citi is offering an iPod shuffle if you get one of their new 'professional' cards and make $500 in purchases within 3 months (easy for most people, especially SDers).
The card offers 12.49% APR and 0% on balance transfers for 12 months. It has a rewards program that gives 3 points for every dollar spent (if you're actually interested in the card, I'm sure you can research more -- the important thing is the free shuffle).
They state on the page that if they run out of shuffles, they'll send you $100 instead.
I'm guessing this is the 512MB model, but it may be the 1 GB one -- I couldn't find it listed anywhere on the page. But then again, who cares, its free!
I'm just going to use this card for 3 months and put my other citi card on the shelf during that time. At the end of my 3 months, I'll just switch back.
I trust that they would actually send the ipod as they are one of the largest finance companies in the US.

The best part is that if you pay your bill on time and redeem your rewards, you can actually do the entire deal for literally no cost to you. Here's hoping that everything works out well.
