*DEAD* Xbox 360 Costco bundle; Save $40 dollars on retail price

If you haven't preordered your X360 yet and want one this holiday, Costco has a great bundle up. It's 480 for the premium X360 ($400), Project Gotham Racing 3 ($50), extra wireless controller ($50), and play and charge kit ($20)

400 + 50 + 50 + 20 = $520, Costco charges $480

You save about $40. I think Costco would also let you return Project Gotham Racing 3 unopened to their store if you don't want the game.

You could buy this bundle then eBay the game and the extra controller if you dont want it and still make out good. Look at it this way, you won't be stuck at Walmart opening day fighting with the soccer moms over the last box like me

Battlefield won't look any better on 360. Looks like I'm waiting a few extra months until I need 360. If I'm lucky, they will be built with HD-Dvd drives by then.

nope. The upgrades from the core package are as follows: it comes with a wireless remote (rather than the wired version that comes with the core bundle), a media center remote (probably required for dvd viewing), the 20 gig hard drive, a headset and component a/v cables.
