I was looking at this scarlet and the 42LG70 but went with a samsung ln46b750 instead, for some reason IMO the picture quality is not 100% there for the slim TVs even the samsung ones, they have to sacrifice something to make them that slim, I didn't need a slim TV so I went with nice PQ instead, BTW this TV has been on newegg for that price for more than a month now, it was supposed to be a promotional price for only 1 week, I remember that's when I almost bought it.

NewEgg has the LG 42" 1080p 120hz Super Slim LCD HDTV on deep discount for only $999 (usually $2,399). This is a great deal for an ultralight, ultra-thin LCD with the most desirable features. Product was still in stock as of this posting.
