I went for the NewEgg deal...got a 20PK of Verbatim DL's for $26 with free shipping...I hate MIR's!

How slow does this drive burn at for a dvd? I know 480 mb/sec is usb but how fast can this burn with a macbookpro 2.16 core duo with 2 gig ram? I would like to save my internal if possible and use this. I will rep correct answers.
