Easy peasy. The T1i is the newest and best Canon entry-level DSLR on the market right now. It's as high as you can get before stepping up to the prosumer "D" series. This camera even rivals most of the "D" series cameras in terms of features and is built with Canon's newest image processor. The 40D and 50D have an older processor. Further, if you assume you'll be able to sell the printer for $300, this is the cheapest you will likely see this camera for a very, very long time, including used and refurbished. The gist? This camera is a new model: there are very, very few used models even available right now, so the savings to be found here is well beyond modest.

That said, if you decide to keep the printer, you're in for a treat. The Pro9000 Mk. II is probably the single best dye-based photo printer out there right now. The difference between dye printer and more expensive pigment printers is that dye printed photographs are more likely to fade over time due to exposure to light--but they will still last for an exceptionally long time. The Pro9000 mk II printer is consistently marked as one of the best photo printers for amateur photographers and even for professionals who are either new to printing at home or don't have much need for prints that will last a century on the wall.

In short, both the printer and the camera get very good marks in terms of product quality, and regardless of whether you keep both or sell the printer, you won't see a deal like this again for years. Actually, you might not ever.
