Yes, the sale is occurring much later this year than usual, but it was anticipated. After so many years of running two major discounts sales a year, it would have been a bad move for DDD to cancel one of those sales.

This strikes me as 100% legit.

Deep Discount has a history of raising prices during the sale. You might want to note down the list of the movie you plan to buy before the sale and then cross check it during the sale to actually make sure you are getting a deal.

Actually, the words are mine, not hers. She ripped off my posting in DVDTalk Bargains forum last week, even to including the "e.g. ESPN, TIMES". I tried to post the DeepDiscount item here last week in the coupon section but no go. Now, I find I posted a Hot Deals posting after someone else did so already a few hours earlier. That's life.
