that's dynamic contrast ratio, which is basically comparing the brightest white the TV is capable of producing to the "black" you get when the TV is off

oh hey thanks, ive been meaning to contribute back to the community but I could never figure out how to start a post.

Local BB it is imma try to search for the item on their website n post back a link for other SDer. God just my luck the one day I dont check the "other" part of fry's ad. Stupid murphy its all your fault.

Edit: there's no pickup option online, its $100 more and shipping is $130, which totally kills the deal!

i have this for 2 days, its a new model for AUS and US according to sticker in the back.

full 1080p 1 year warranty and 2 years on the panel.

As per quality of set, its good deal at Frys special one day sale price.

I have returned 40" XBR to BB for this TV, no regrets at all.

Pros: Very nice. Outstanding picture quality, sound is better than you might expect from TV speakers.

Cons: There are no cons that I can find. The only "con" I have is the other reviewer that admittedly has never seen or used this TV, yet felt compelled to rate it 3 eggs. If you haven't used it, don't review it!

Imma try to do it tomorow does anyone know if they will take a print out of the ad? or does it have to the the real "newspaper" ad. What's my chance of getting the 10% difference? because that would make it a monster of a deal! So in short, what should i bring tomorow?

PS anyone know of any other SoCal store that would pricematch frys?
