Bought this last week when it was $199 and free set of infinity speakers. Its really a nice unit and has a lot of options.

Also note, for people comparing this to lesser CD units. This has 5V preamp outputs. This is a must for people running amplifiers in their car. The higher number will allow you to turn the gain on your amp down reducing hiss when you turn it up. I have this running to an Eclipse EA4100 (6.5" ADS and Boston components) and a Clarion 2180 (Sony ES sub) and the sound is amazing. The Bongiovi DSP tends to give a scooped midrange sound. I haven't even loaded the software for my vehicle yet though.

Update*** I finally played an SD through this and it was 2gb. It worked like a charm. Not sure about anything larger than this.

This is how you can save an additional $20 (you must have a Discover CC with CB savings):

considering that crutchfield sent me this to replace the doa pioneer deck that they no longer stocked, it works well, looks good and the BonGiovi DSP built in. I'll stick with this JVC. I also used to have an SH707 JVC and it lasted for 7 years.

Also, this is essentially the KD-SH1000 which sold for close to $300

I have been waiting for one with steering wheel controls and this is it. I like the newer remotes, but this one will do for what I need!!! And USB of course, why buy without a USB plug!!

How good is the JVC

I bought this yesterday, but I was leary of it because the lack of reviews. Can anyone out there that has this comment on it? What capacity memory cards does it handle? I do like the multiline display and SD card functionality.

Anyway, you have to love Crutchfield for including all of the installation accessories.

I should have mine tomorrow so we will see over the weekend how much I like it.
