Steve's reviews are useless because they rarely tell you anything about negative aspects of the products and most of the sentences are simply rehashed from previous reviews.
For actual reviews that use objective quantifiable measures, I use dpreview.com |

Good price for the camera. It's also $130 shipped at PC Connection [pcconnection.com]. The camera itself is a bit crippled compared to the older A series. The A720 was probably the best one out there with the nicest combo of features, zoom, and 8mp seems to be a sweet spot for the sensor size used. If you want manual control, the ability to screw on various lenses, filters and such, the A720 or A560 are better options. The only thing they did better with the new ones is slim down the size.

eh, okay camera, i think it takes decent pictures in day light, but not so much at night. The slowness can be a problem too, this is an entry level from canon, the SD line are probably a little better.
