Nice. Just in time. Actually I am after the 3008WFP but the 10% off works for that too, and it just went down from $1700 to $1400 so I will get $1259 w/ free ship. This beats the $1300 + ship my Dell rep was going to get me (he will match this of course).

Any way to do any better on the 3008? EPP or something? I plan to get 2 or 3 of these for work. I know they have been as low as ~$1150 before, but I cant seem to get that now.

Note the older 3007 is $972 with this combo - not the best ever but not bad.

I'm in the market for a non-TN panel, 24" around this price.

I've read that this is a great panel, and I'd be willing to buy, but will I be better off waiting until black friday? Would I be able to get a much better deal if I waited 3 more months, or does this kind of high-end technology not go much lower on black friday?

This monitor comes up at this price every two to four weeks these days.
I have not seen it go lower (at least recently) but it is only a warm deal since it seems to be only slightly lower than the equilibrium price.

Here is my favorite large monitor [newegg.com] for value and price. But if I had the dough, I would splurge on either one of the Dell's.

Well, I imagine that for someone who has been diligently taking advantage of black fridays for the past 5 years or so, they would have an idea if this type of high-end tech has heavy discounts, or if only the mainstream items get the hefty discounts.

I currently have a Dell Ultrasharp 24" 1200 res and love it. Once you go 1200 res, you won't go back to 1080.
