found this canon mini dv starter kit at walmart.com on clearance for only $19. the kit is a nice value, but what makes it a slick deal is the fact that it includes a canon original NB2LH (works with Rebel XT/XTi Digital SLR Cameras and VIXIA HV Series and ZR Series Camcorders and other canon cameras)
The battery alone sells for $43 on amazon or $41 dollars on google products

yeah i think it's for the XT

agreed with the post above, on amazon it said it works with the xti too.
