Don't buy silicone caulk - you can't paint over it. Buy latex. It's cheaper and works just as well. Nice find OP.

OP, fix your link for the ladder. FWIW, the ladder is too short for anything exterior other than a ranch.

I keep waiting for the clearance outdoor furniture 75% to kick in. My local store has a bunch of those 3-person, covered, swinging benchs, but they're still at $129.

They do make a paintable silicone caulk. Silicone is far superior to latex. latex caulk will shrink and split over time (depending on the exposure) I have windows sealed with latex in my 10 year old house that needed to be resealed. Silicone lasts much longer.

Silicone has other advantages such as density, so the seal is more impervious than latex.

The big problem with silicone is it's much messier than latex.

There's some excellent latex/silicone blends that are easier to work with. They last almost as long as silicone and are a little cheaper to boot.

I believe There is a Coupon for 6 dollars off the charcoal as well, making it a sweeter deal just have to buy some glad bags I believe this is pdf printable OP!!
