calibrated, wide-gamut IPS will blow away PVA, MVA etc... every day of the week. My only worry with this one might be that it could be too bright. Hopefully it includes options to dial down the brightness.

If I recall correctly, wide gamut monitors have trouble displaying the right colors. Is this still the case?

Every monitor has a bottom brightness level...

GPU doesn't control the backlighting of a monitor. The brightness slider only changes things in a software type of way... I believe by making every color more white.

The HP2475 doesn't come calibrated though, right?
