Restaurant.com 80% off: $25 Gift Certificates $2 or $3, $10 Gift Certificates $0.80
Restaurant.com has a new 80% off code CHEF available, which is valid through Sep 30, 2009. The $25 gift certificates are normally $10 or $15 (depending on restaurant), but are $2 or $3 with the code. They also sell $10 certificates for select restaurants for $4, making them 80 cents each with the code. Thanks smrtshopr

In defense of the English language, the correct term for these items is coupons.
If you are getting multiple "Dinner of the Month Club", do separate transactions for each so you get your "one free coupon" each time. I found this out the hard way.
These things are called Gift Certificates but they are really more like "$X off of $Y" coupons. Kind of like you might see a $25 off a $75 purchase coupon for Staples, Office Depot, etcetera.
The one I used last night had a requirement of $35 purchase, so you could think of it as a $25 off of a $35 purchase coupon.

They need to do a better job marketing to Columbus restaurants. They haven't added any in awhile. Quaker Steak and Lube sells out quickly - I can never get in on those. I see Ugly Tuna Saloona has some right now.

Their inventory usually resets on the first of every month. Looks like they're trying to clear some with this deal before this month is over.

Restaurant.com has $25 gift certificates for $2
Save 80% at www.restaurant.com by typing in CHEF at checkout. As a result, you can buy a $25 gift certificate that is normally $10 for $2. I assume it is for a limited time, but I don't know when the offer ends.

I just received an email from Restaurant.com and they are running an 80% off promotion with the discount code: CHEFThat means $25 certificates for $2. Not quite as hot as the 90% off promo, but darn close. |
