Finding a Touchscreen model can be few and far between- AFAICT you must check the specs of each model by clicking on the Service Tag and looking near the bottom of the specs for: " 10.1inch WSVGA Touchscreen LED Display (1024X600)"

There are regular Hard Drive models (80GB, 160GB,etc) and a SSD model.
The SSD model is the 16GB model, it uses a Samsung UM410 ( 90MB/s read 45MB/s write)

One slot (of two) of the memory may be soldered to the board and the limit is 2GB (1GB per slot).
So, if you get one with 512MB installed, it may only upgrade to 1.5GB RAM

Tried to install a 2GB stick - stuck at blank screen BIOS. So apparently it is confirmed , only up to 1GB RAM in the extra slot.

During purchase, Dell offers an Additional 1GB Memory Module for Dell Latitude 2100 Laptop is $19.99 [$15.99 AC] , so buying with the order may be your best bet

Many units at the outlet are incorrectly described as 1024x600 LCD. But, the regular Dell site only offers 1024x576 LCD.

A 1024x600 LCD does exist on this model.

The replacement procedure for outlet items is rather whacked and the Dell service is not what it used to be.

There is *NO* guarantee a replacement will have the proper resolution nor the same *exact* configuration as the original unit. You could end up with a lesser unit than the the original.

Yea it is. Its for a school setting. I am not sure if this is better deal than the mini 10v outlet one, but at least this has more in stock.

Don't like the bulk of the 6 cell battery and went with solid state because he is a kid. The SSD will save on battery life and probably have less failure rate of a HDD.
