What I like to do is figure out how much wear I'll get out of what I buy. I bought a $108 pair of slacks once (on sale for about $33), and wore them about 10 years - so it was a great deal! These were made out of lightweight wool, were black, & I loved them. Would probably have paid the $108 had I known how well they would hold up. I paid 1/3 of that amount & certainly got my money's worth. It all depends on how well the garment is contructed, what material it's made of & if it's a style that will last for years.

I bought Liz when I worked professionally, in a job that required nice attire; I still have some of that stuff. I think it depends on what you need and how much wear you can get out of an item. It's not just the price that I consider - although I love great sales.

Totaly agree with you. We should think over before we pay our cash.

Got 17 tops for my wife for $76 shipped. I could have bought only 4 or 5, but just didn't feel like paying more than the cost of 1 item for shipping. NOT GOOD.
