The game comes with the free "Bring Down the Sky" expansion. Follow the instructions here [steampowered.com] for acquiring.

If you're running Vista and having trouble getting ME to launch, quit out of Steam completely. Then open Steam by right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator." Launch ME from the steam menu. Worked for me, anyhoo.
