not to thread crap, but i have one of these, and the volume up button on this model will always fail after a certain amount of time. you can google it and see all the complaints. mine went after about 2years of 4-7hours a week of television. after a year the warranty is up, so after a year you are s.o.l or if your daring enough (which i am not) you can open it up and attempt to fix the button. most people just reprogram another button to act as the volume up button but if your paying $100 for a remote you shouldnt have to compromise

Fixed my 880 buttons. It was very easy, initially, then took my "fix" a little too far and rendered channel up/vol up useless.

Hey not sure if theis needs it's own thread or not but..... My 880 volume buttons went on the fritz as well. They still work with a firm well placed finger but again.... I called Logitech to see if they could do anything. The rep gave me 50% off any Harmony ( not sure if was anything on the site or just Harmony ) product on their website making both the 900 and the Harmony 1100 for 199. Hope this helps someone and if anyone thinks it needs it's own thread we can do that too.

I was on the fence until I saw that it came with the extender. That alone goes for $50.

This or fork over another $85 for the One?

At this time, all my components are in line of sight and I can't imagine that changing anytime soon. Any recommendations from current users of either?
