Any thoughts on this vs the walmart TVs?
I think I might take this one and not worry about tracking down a walmart model. Thoughts? |

I think its better than the walmart set. The internet features are really cool. I have the LCD version LG 47LH50 and use netflix stream to my set all the time. I also lay in bed and spend hours on youtube.
I also have the LG 50ps60 plasma, same set without the internet features and I think the picture is much better than my LCD. Don't know if any of that helps, just my .02.. |

Very tempting. If it was an equally good price on a 60", I'd jump on it.

man, 846 is a steal. Paid 1000 for the 50PS60. It gets good reviews for the picture. Might have to jump on this..

These TVs keep getting cheaper...can't transport the Walmart set, this one is an even better deal with BCB and free shipping. My only concern is that the plasma will be too heavy for the wall...which is why I planned to go LCD...
Edit: Any more feedback on this set would be helpful...primary use is gonna be for gaming. At this point, though, I expect to see things fall even cheaper by BF... 2nd edit: Think I'll pass. Advantage to getting plasma for me would be the black levels, and the Cnet review says they're not great on this TV. Don't really care too much about Youtube and streaming, I have a PC hooked up for that. Great deal if those are things you want.... Last edited by automated; 11-10-2009 at 05:44 PM.. |

If you watch that CNET video review you can totally tell the black levels on this set are REALLY light. Great price but I'd rather have a slightly smaller LCD or plasma with better black levels.
