Does that mean the original Zune 30 will not be able to output video to a tv using the rca jacks? So basically it would be limited to audio only?

You would be able to output video from the 30 gig, just at a lower quality than the larger models.

After some research, you have a couple of dock choices if you have a 30/80/120

The v.1 round dock can be had on Amazon for 6-9 bucks shipped all the time. However all you get is the hockey puck, no remote, cable or power supply. It can to be modded (easy) to fit the 80/120, but won't output component. From the reviews, though, it seems it is a higher build quality dock than v.2.

The v.2 here is just a better deal. You get the dock, an attached charging cable (since it's attached I won't call it a sync cable unless you have your AV system next to your computer), a power supply with fold in prongs, 5 bucks of mp3s, and FSSS with prime or filler. composite (30GB model) is the single yellow video cable and lower quality than the red, blue, green component (80GB, 120GB models) video cables that works with the second generation models
