i called them up: they said all you have to do is call and or chat with them. they know about the issue but will gladly apply a $15 credit after you place your order. they are honoring the $24.99 price!

Ditto this. If you read carefully on the $39.99 screen, it says the $15 discount will happen after adding it to the cart.

I really needed new luggage for holiday travels. Super slick, repped!

Good deal OP, the quality of the lugage is okay, not the greatest, but should do the job for a few trips.
