I think you are probably right. I just get 'em as I need them. They are for my PCM recorder. Kingston is what I usually get but I have a Transcend coming from Newegg soon. They have reasonably high scores there.

I'm holding off for a while before I get another. I know they dropped production to raise prices. We might wait to see prices lower again. It's a crap shoot. Good post though OP.

Oh, and free standard shipping.

It was in another thread but if you got to the Transcend web site these claim to come with a lifetime warranty. There was some confusion about that.

If you need packaging get a card wallet. I have a lowpro that is adequate but could be better suited to micro sdhc. Let me know if you find one.

I had a bunch of plastic casings, still have a few. PM me. A wallet is the way to go though IMHO

Ordered one but there is a ton of bad reviews on newegg and amazon if sort by worse to best. a lot of DOA and data errors and memory loss etc.

wouldn't say "a ton." plus, in context, the 5-star reviews outweigh the 1-star ones by a 10:1 ratio.

if you look at any good product, there will still be one stars.
