the offer is back. open a FREE One checking account with Bank One to receive a free iPOD shuffle.

On top of that, sign up for an automatic savings plan and get a free $15 iTunes music card.

conditions -
One Checking is eligible for an iPod shuffle with a minimum opening deposit of $500 in new money. Direct deposit must be active as of 1/31/06. Online bill payments must be paid from new checking account by 2/28/06. Offer not available on account conversions or in combination with any other offer. Checking account must remain open for a minimum of six months or the value of the bonus will be debited from the account at closing. I'm wondering if I should cancel my BankOne account and sign up again just for this offer. I'd like an Ipod Shuffle

better yet I should threaten to cancel my account if they don't give me one because of the idea that it's bs that they'll give incentives to new accounts but do nothing to keep me with them. I am planning to get joint account with my wife soon so there is really no problem if i cancel

Yes this would be okay for existing members. The best way to do it is their premier plan. From what I have been told "open checking account with $500 dollars in it for 6 months.

Get a free shuffle with citibank credit card instead

Why bother with all this when you can just get a citibank credit card and charge $500 in 3 months and get the shuffle.

to me!

- since I already did the loan regardless, the Nano IS actually free for me.

It's extra nice because the equity line is prime MINUS .5, that's better than any other local banks around here. (others are at prime)

BTW - It's Chase Bank for me (changed over from Bank One).
