Originally, the Wii only supported 2GB or under SD cards. But a newer system update enabled SDHC support. So, SDHC cards up to 32GB should work.

The class of card only a minimum speed, which never really indicates just how fast or slow a card is: i.e. a brand-name Class 4 card can easily outperform a budget-brand Class 6. Research and reviews are key in making the best purchase. My .02.

Read up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secu...ss_Ratings. This is a card with advertised 9MB/sec transfer, and faster real-world tests. Lexar is a great brand like that.

This will cause more buffering in burst mode on class 4 card.
