As per the specs I have posted, it does have digital audio out and also the specs on LG website shows it has digital audio out, here is the link [lge.com] to the specs on LG site.

Update: Ahh, I see you are talking about Optical Out, yeah I guess this one does not have Optical Out, but it does have Coaxial out, so you are covered if your receiver has input for digital co-ax.
