No, I had no problems assembling the product, its is just cheaply made. To elaborate, the table top itself is just glued together, no biscuits, or dowels, out of #3 lumber, so its weak. It will crack at the seams, just wait for it. The edges of the table top have a 3/4 inch cove, which is not straight, smooth, or even. The dimensional quality of the lumber is also cheap, with a 3/4 nominal thickness, there are spots where it goes to 1/2 or where they took out a chuck and replaced it with a filler, yet there's a half inch border of glue around it.

The actual frame for the table is sturdy, but in its own flawed. The rolling casters are decent, but the wood is too thin to support the casters from splitting the frame if there is any more than 30 lbs of weight on it.

Take into consideration that this is a review after receiving two of these tables, one being a replacement that was doa on arrival. The table comes in a cardboard box, I shouldn't be so generous, a construction paper package with two 3 x 3 inch pieces of tape holding together a 40 lb package.

If you get one that isn't in pieces, than it would make a for a decent little table that doesn't get used for anything other than being a display. I wouldn't recommend serving anything warm, hot, or having the potential to stain on this table.

Oh, and don't put anything on it when the leaf is up with the casters, it will tip over, and the paper towel holder is useless unless you put in half a roll.

I saw this and thought it would have been a great little table, yet it's just a little table that sits in the corner because its functionality is quite useless, makes a great table for keys and the heading out the door items.
