Just got in on this thanks to my AMEX card, so happy after my rather unpleasant trip to OD to get an MSI.

To get the deal you MUST HAVE AN AMEX CARD. I'm not sure if this will work w/ the gift cards but worth a try.

1. Go to dailywish.amexnetwork.com
2. Search the "Shop Anytime" section for Lenovo, click on the up to 40% off deal and AMEX will connect you to the Lenovo site
3. Select the G550-2958 HJU model and it to your basket, it'll be $449
4. Enter coupon code USP12EVERY to get $100 off
5. Enjoy!

IT APPEARS THAT SOME HAVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE COUPON TO WORK. SOME CLAIM IT GOES THROUGHT WHEREAS OTHERS ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY. AT THIS POINT YMMV ON THE COUPON.

The Intel� Pentium� Processor T4300 (1M Cache, 2.10 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) dual-core CPU is not a Core Duo [wikipedia.org]. Lenovo has mixed them up.

How to get this to work on non-amex card
