To get the cashback
- Go to http://www.bing.com/cashback and search for "hard drive"
- Over on the right hand side you will see "sponsored sites". Find Newegg and click on it. (Make sure AdBlock is off if you're having trouble finding where the "sponsored sites" are)
- You will know that you are getting the %10 because there will be a notice on the Newegg site letting you know you are.
- Come back here, and click on the link. You should still see the notice. You are good to go.
Note that when you checkout you will have to agree to the terms and directly below that checkbox is another box requiring you to confirm that you are allowing Newegg to send your info to Microsoft about the cashback. This is the only confirmation that you will have that you are getting the cashback once you have started checking out.

CRAP!!! I just bought the $89.99 Samsung 1.5tb drive by itself...
Should I trade up for the WD drive combo? Based on the reviews I'm not really sure (the Samsung comes out as the winner here). |
