Sony 8x dvd writer 530a dual format for $ 67+ tax in staples AR/AC/PM

I know this is a repost but this deal is getting better. You can buy a Sony DRU-530A 8x dual format for 80 after price match. Called up staple at 1-800-3staple and told them to pricematch to mwave.com. After coupons and two rebate the price drop down to 67dollars.

So the shipping count as an original price therefore the price will be more than $150 to qualify you using the coupons. If not you can alway add something like sony 50cd-r for 9.99 or something else you like.

I tried 2 times and staples simply said that It could not price match Mwave.com because they are not an authorized sony dealer. Can someone help!

Update http://www.futurepowerpc.com/ is a sony authorized dealer and their price is $143 + $13.20 for next day shipping = $156.20 -$30 coupon and -10% difference is about $130 with tax.

both will work. they are TWO different rebates. Different exp. date and different paperwork requirement (one asks for original UPC and the other asks for copy of UPC). Go figure.

I don't know what's up with staples, but the first guy got them to pricematch mwave.com, when I called they wouldn't pricematch mwave, so I had to look for a sony authorized dealer since the Staple's customer service person said it was a requirement, that's how I found futurepowerpc.com and Staples pricematched them.
I really don't know why they wouldn't do it for you sparkyjones.

Also, I think I will return the drive, since sony just announced the new dru-700a, dual layer recorder and 8x+ 8x-!
