- Unlocked quad-band GSM phone. You can use this on any GSM carrier that uses this phone's supported frequencies. Most European carriers are GSM. In the US, you're game for T-Mobile and AT&T. Do your homework if you're unsure!
- Dual-band 3G access. AT&T customers can get 3G speed. T-Mobile customers are out of luck.
- Uses Nokia's own S60 Linux-based operating system. Some think menu navigation is a royal pain. Others like it. Still others don't have a preference.
- About one year old. This phone was announced in late 2008.

used to have this phone, it was good - no more no less. i did pay much more though so very nice find op

I would like an unlocked smart quad-band smart phone for next year, when I will be living in France. I would appreciate some feedback as to whether this is a deal I should jump on, or whether it would be better to wait it out. Thanks!

This thing has unbelievable 11 hours of talk-time and 18 days stand-by I like the FM transmitter and Bluetooth music streaming to wireless headphones |

Great deal. I have been hoping for the E71 to drop to around $200 or less. I bought one of these in red for my mother in Germany when it was the same price. She loves it. I'm tempted. Not sure if the E71 will come down in price again...
Oh well, problem solved, coupon seem to have expired. Bummer... |

I love this phone, got it for this $ last Dell deal a few months back. I just popped in my Tmobile gold prepaid SIM and started using FREE wifi and google maps right off the bat. Still learning the ropes but I tried a touch smartphone once and this is the win with keyboard and multitasking. No stinkin contract needed.
