This is a faster processor and larger screen size (14.1 vs 15.6) so that must be taken into account. I am hoping these laptops will drop in price as new tech is pushed into the forefront this year. Decent deal regardless.

Got a nearly identical one for my sister in December (hers had a 320 GB hard drive) for about $480 after BCB from TigerDirect. It is a good computer for her so far. It came with XP preloaded and a Win7 Professional install disc. I loaded Win7, which eliminated any bloatware that it may have come with, reinstalled the drivers, and she's set. I'm unable to replicate the deal I got in December (BCB was 13.1%, the laptop was $549 then, now BCB is 8%, and the laptop is $579), so I have to say this is a decent deal.
